Just letting everyone know I watched the Leonids just now. That's right, around 4-5:30ish in the morning my dad got up, we suited up in heavy coats since it was below freezing, drove out to a park, and stared up at the sky for around 20 min.

The best part is his new phone, which I hate for making noises at odd hours when I don't know it's in the room, actually did something cool. It has a star map app so when you turn the phone it shows you which stars you're facing. Well, actually it shows the ones a few degrees to the left, but it was still fun.

Most of the meteors were around Orion, which is nice since I regularly stare at him anyway. We also spotted a satellite and Mars, which was very bright. Plus I think I might have found Perseus and Andromeda! _{It still amuses me that Andromeda is essentially stuck to Pegasus.}

So the trip was a complete success.
